Top ERG Sponsor

While employee resource groups do the most of the heavy lifting as advocates for change, they DO require support from internal sources. Sponsors can change the direction of an ERG and get other company leaders to take them more seriously. This award is to honor those who support ERGs in their creation and journey to fruition.

The Top ERG Sponsor Award recognized an Executive Sponsor of a company’s ERG who has had an immeasurable impact on inclusion within the company.

 

Criteria

 

  • Advocates for the needs of ERGs to fellow executives
  • Drive understanding and awareness of the work/mission of ERGs
  • Fosters an environment that allows for the creation and growth of ERGs
  • Supports the communities that ERGs serve through advocating for equitable hiring, recruiting, and interviewing practices
